Over the years, many people have carved personal inscriptions into the granite of Stone Mountain. In this guide, we refer to these as engravings. We reserve the word carving for the Confederate Memorial Carving.

Most of Stone Mountain's engravings are located along the Walk-Up Trail, but several are located elsewhere.

In the engraving list, you can click on any push pin icon to see the location on the map. The distance is measured from the railroad tracks.

You can also view a map of all engravings.
